These discussion groups address the security, stability and development dynamics with a differential approach in the Colombia-Ecuador and Colombia-Venezuela border areas. We invite representatives of the Colombian State in border Departments to reflect on the migration and insecurity crisis, and the impact on the peace process implementation in border regions. State representatives are encouraged to share their experience in public policy planning, implementation, and monitoring of these marginalised regions. The discussion will follow two main themes: a) transnational peace and development plans, b) community protection measures with a differential approach.
